Join us for four special evenings featuring live music, great food, cold beer, and community for a good cause!

The second installation of the Uptown Sports Club and Meanwhile Brewing Co. summer backyard barbecue series concludes on Friday, August 15, bringing together chefs, Meanwhile beers, and live music to offer a laid-back, approachable culinary experience reminiscent of the classic summer shindig!

Join us for a full menu by Aaron Franklin, the legendary pitmaster behind Franklin BBQ, and Mike Perez of Loro. Uptown Sports Club will also be serving additional menu items, with dessert provided by Diana Philibert.

Meanwhile Brewing will feature a limited edition cocktail and draft beer inspired by the evening’s menu. DJ SHPGRL is spinning vinyl from 6:30-8:15pm during dinner, with Honey Made taking the stage from 8:30-10pm. Shop local with Howler Bros, The Green Room (local cacti & succulents), and & the Minotaur (handmade jewelry) throughout the evening.

$20 of each ticket purchased will be donated to The Community Foundation of the Hill Country to support the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Proceeds from the Backyard BBQ Grillin’ & Chillin’ merch, as well as proceeds from each evening’s limited edition draft beer, will also be donated to the Foundation. Merch is available for pre-order and pickup onsite, or you can order in person at the event.

Children under 12 eat free, but please email events@meanwhilebeer.com with an RSVP for children under 12.

General Admission Ticket Info

Each ticket will include an entree and side dish from each featured chef, plus additional menu items from Uptown Sports Club, and a featured dessert. Drinks will be available for purchase onsite. The food and drinks will be accompanied by a vinyl DJ set from 6:30-8:15pm, followed by live music from 8:30-10pm. Tickets are non-refundable!
