Our ideal rep will have previous sales experience, outstanding relationship building skills, and be both business & customer focused. The job requires the ability to solve problems quickly & independently and to follow through on commitments to our fans, friends and customers. Their main responsibility is to support the brewery by growing sales, forging new connections, maintaining old relationships, and acting as a brand ambassador for Meanwhile Brewing Company. OUR Sales Representative...
  • Manages accounts while driving rate of sale through promotional activity & consumer awareness
  • Secures new tap placements within the on-premise market 
  • Meets weekly with Director to set goals and recap previous week’s accomplishments
  • Documents weekly visits, happenings, & goals
  • Maintains and adheres to company safety protocols
  • Participates in wholesale business plan meetings to assist with strategic planning
  • Visits a minimum of 50 on-premise accounts per week
  • Conducts activations or promotions in key accounts to help encourage rate of sale
  • Attends events and sponsorships including tap takeovers, tastings, beer dinners, and festivals
  • Can perform basic draft line maintenance and cleaning 
  • Ensures that Meanwhile’s quality standards are clearly understood and maintained at accounts
  • Ensures proper use of available legal point of sale items throughout the territory
  • Conducts themself professionally while representing Meanwhile Brewing Co.
  • Communicates effectively with Director of Sales, Delivery Technicians, and other Sales Reps to meet commitments to accounts
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
  • 2 years experience of sales, marketing, or customer relations – craft beer industry preferred
  • HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or military equivalent preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of and passion for craft beer is a must. Direct experience with the craft beer scene in Austin is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedule, as weekend and extended workdays are sometimes required
  • Spanish language skills are a major plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, MS Office Suite is required. 
  • You must be able to lift/roll 55-165 pound kegs.
  • A valid TX Driver’s License and TABC Server Certification is required.
